Project description: The project is aimed at introducing an innovative product to the market by Cejax: a bed base that can adapt to changing loads during the use of the furniture, meeting the requirements of ergonomics for a person in a lying position. The product is the result of the Applicant’s R&D activity, as a result of which the production technology of this solution was also developed. The technology developed by the Applicant was on 04/11/2014. pending patent protection under the name “Textile bedding and manufacturing method of a textile bedding” under the number P.409985. The application received a positive report on the state of the art, confirming its level of novelty. The product is addressed to a wide audience, especially people with back problems. It can be used in hospitals, sanatoriums, hotels or by the military in the field. The new bed base should be defined as an innovative product on a global scale, which is confirmed by Opinions on innovation prepared by the Textile Research Institute and the Association of Polish Mechanics Engineers and Technicians. The implementation of the results of R&D works will require investment activities enabling the creation of appropriate infrastructure, therefore two tasks are planned: 1) purchase of construction works and materials 2) equipping the plant with the infrastructure necessary to start production and implement the product on the market: purchase of 4 looms, 1 snow blade , a system supporting logistic processes to implement an ICT solution. In this way, the efficiency of production and distribution of the product will be ensured. As a result of the project, 5 new jobs will be created and 3 innovations will be introduced: product, process and organizational related to the implementation of a new management system in the enterprise.
